The story.
In an indian temple the engagement between the warrior Solor and Rajah’s daughter Gamzatti was going to be celebrated. Among the dancing invitees, the Bayadère Nikiya, which has swore trust and feelings to Solor. Once Gamzatti knew about that solemn oath, made a gift to Nikiya, a basket of flowers in which she hid a snake that bit the beautiful Bayadèere to the death. Desperated for her death, Solor felt asleep. Like in a dream, his soul VAGA in the kingdom of souls till he met again his beloved Bayadèere.
