In diretta da Beirut (ore 20.37 Lebanon local time)

- Heavy gunfire in Aley. 3 reported dead. Major fighting between Jumblat's PSP militia and Hizballah.
- Saida, Hariri's hometown, is under the control of the opposition.
- LOTS of talk about Saniora resigning tonight. Stay tuned.
- Reporting from City Mall: Open, but with reduced activity. Most shops were closing at around 8 PM. Lots of traffic in and around cafes (Dunkin Donuts / Moka More), with laptops open refreshing pages for updates.
- Reporting from ABC: Only 2 parking levels are open. Not much activity, but around 70% of shops open. Virgin is closed. Most shops were closing down by late afternoon (7 PM). I'm not sure about the theaters though, didn't check. Paul had closed the kitchen at around 6 PM.
- Reporting from Gemmayze: It's dead. Paul was closed when I passed (4 PM). Not much activity, but some places are open. Some shops were taking advantage of the lull to clean up (Olio). As usual Torino is open, so if you're in the neighborhood, or want to get out and away from the fekin TV, come down and have a birra.
- Reporting from Bir Hassan: Roads are open in most Shiite areas. Crossing from Bir Hassan to Hazmieh by car is a non-issue.
